The Dual Lock castor is designed to use with Ultrasound imaging systems. The assembly includes a tire, castor, release pedal, direction locking pedal and wheel locking pedal. As a single step procedure, to activate the pedal instantly locks the entire castor holding the equipment firmly in place. Similarly a simple step on release pedal frees the swivel and wheel. This feature assures that the swivel castor will not turn when the wheel is locked, thus makes it as an effective locking mechanism for Ultrasound environment. It has a capacity of bearing peak load up to 100 kgs. The tier of the castor wheels is made up of rubber which is an excellent mechanical property including good tensile, elongation, tear resistance and resilience. The upper cover, main body, brake plate holder, wheel locking pedal, releasing pedal, and direction locking pedal are all made up of Nylon material. The GE product is an innovation and technology which fits well into versatile customer needs. It is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The part is diligently designed for high performance and reliability. It is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
