This DTRX64 II Assembly is a beam-forming part that's main function is Analog and Digital Signal Processing. It has 64 channels of analog and digital signal conditioning circuits that transmit a high voltage pulse, and receive and amplify the echo-backed small signals from a transducer through an Interface board. Each channel consists of a low-noise and active input termination pre-amplifier (LNA), voltage controlled amplifier (VGA), Low pass filter (AAF) and an analog to digital converter (ADC) in a receiver path, and a dual-TX-driver and TR switch in a transmiter path. A Transmit/Receiver Switch (T/R Switch) is a diode configuration that allows the pulser to drive the transducer, and protects the receiver preamp from large negative and positive voltages produced by the transmitter. The assembly includes MLB64 II and DTD64 circuit boards which are interconnected. This assembly can be used with Logiq P6 Ultrasound systems.
