This cable assembly is used in the X-Ray System. It comprises of 26 position high density D-sub connectors at either ends. D-Sub Connectors are electrical connectors with two or more parallel rows of pins or sockets surrounded by a D-shaped metal shield that screens against some electromagnetic interference, provides mechanical support, and ensures correct orientation. The 26 AWG wire gauge cable is a multi-pair, stranded and twisted pair jacketed with polyvinyl chloride which has resistance against the chemical or electrolytic corrosion, fire resisting qualities due to their resilient sheath and is unaffected by moisture. This cable assembly is labelled with part number to ease the identification.It is compatible with Optima XR646 , Discovery XR656, Definium 6000, Optima XR648, Optima XR642 X-Ray System.
