This Cooling Cover Kit comes with 2x through hole mounting and 6x louvers provided at 2 places on its sides. The louver vents allow air circulation for internal components to maintain a correct temperature and cool down the convection or fan cooled parts. In general, covers are provided to protect internal parts and mechanisms from: low impact collisions, electrical hazards, dust, dirt, moisture, and fluid spills. Covers also reduce noise, and make cleaning easier. The cover is made up of GE's Noryl N190 material, a family of modified PPE resins made of amorphous blends of PPO™ resin (polyphenylene ether) and polystyrene. It combines the inherent benefits of PPO resin - affordable high heat resistance, good electrical properties, excellent hydrolytic stability and the ability to use non-halogen FR packages. This Cooling Kit Cover is compatible with GE's OEC Mobile C-Arm 9800, 9900 Elite 9 inch and 12 inch systems.
